Obituary

Joseph J. Regan Jr., 55, passed away at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on May 14th, 2009 . He was born in Medford on November 25th, 1953 to his parents Joseph and Mary (Gillis) Regan. Joseph has been a life long resident of Medford. He is a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1972 and earned his bachelors degree from Middlesex Community College. Joseph worked as a travel agent for over 20 years. He was employed by Fresh Pond Travel in Cambridge and later became the owner and operator of Roll Around Travel in Malden, a company that specialized in serving the disabled. He was a former special education teacher at Medford High School and was also a former manager of the Norman Prince Post Drum and Bugle Corps in Melrose. Joseph enjoyed traveling to many different destinations during his lifetime. He is survived by his siblings, Elizabeth Regan of Winthrop, Mary Perks of Oxford, England, Theresa Marshall of Haverhill, Rita Glynn of Medford, Christopher Regan of Cumberland, RI and Anne Marie Regan of Medford; and by his nieces and nephews; Elizabeth, Melissa, Mary, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Rachel, Jennifer, John, Casey and Conor. Along with his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his sister Maureen Sereni. At the request of his family, services are private.
