TEWKSBURY: Kathleen T. (Callahan) (Willis) Bundrick, age 87, a Tewksbury resident for over 25 years, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2009.
She was the widow of Mike E. Bundrick, who passed away in 1989.
Born in Cambridge on July 22, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Leo A. and Elizabeth V. (Daly) Callahan.
Mrs. Bundrick was raised in Revere and attended Revere schools.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the electronics industry by the Adage Company in Lynn and the Western Electric Company in North Andover.
Mrs. Bundrick resided in Revere and later moved to Malden, Derry, NH and Tewksbury.
She was a communicant of Saint William’s Church of Tewksbury and was a former member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality of the Parish.
Kathleen enjoyed bowling, square dancing, playing bingo and traveling to Florida and Arizona.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Willis of Ozona, FL and Geraldine Goldrick and her husband John J. Goldrick, III of Tewksbury; one sister, Rita Carifio of Revere; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Callahan of Malden and Ann Legere of Billerica; nine grandchildren, Donna Johnstone of Springfield, MO, Leo Moccia of N. Andover, Michael Mackie of Everett, Dianna Deferrari, Scott Deferrari and Christine Wilson all of Palm Harbor, FL, John L. Goldrick of Weare, NH, Juliann Knoops of Tewksbury and Jay J. Goldrick of Lincoln, RI; she leaves fifteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bundrick was the mother of the late Nancy E. Richardson formerly of Everett, sister of the late John T. Callahan, Sr. formerly of Tewksbury, Thomas Callahan formerly of Malden, Elizabeth Fillinger formerly of Groveland and Mary Lombardo formerly of Medford and sister-in-law of the late Lawrence Fillinger formerly of Groveland, Albert Carifio formerly of Revere and Carmen Lombardo formerly of Medford.
Calling hours Sunday, May 17th, from 3-7 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home,
16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Monday, May 18th, at 9 am. from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery, Derry, NH will be held at a later date.
