Marian Frances Collins, 93 of Medford, died Friday at her late residence. She was the wife of the late Harley Collins. Mrs. Collins was born and educated in Boston, the daughter of the late John S. and Mary A. (Philips) Wellings. A graduate of East Boston High School, class of 1933, she also was a graduate of the former John Adams School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse, employed by the Chelsea Soldiers Home for over 28 years, retiring in 1977. In earlier years she was an avid bingo player, she enjoyed doing crosswords and playing cards. She is survived by
one daughter: Loretta Meucci of Medford, a son: William Collins of Billerica, one granddaughter, Debra Collins and a grandson, James Collins. Great grandmother of 7 great grandchildren and one great, great grandson. Sister of the late Loretta Matterazzo, Agnes Mortellite and Phyllis DeFranco. Friends may call Sunday from 3 thru 7 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, Monday at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment private.
