SHREWSBURY-Mary Ann V. (Roseberry) Maynard, 95, of Shrewsbury, died Wednesday, May 13th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence. Her husband, Ralph F. Maynard died in 1993. She leaves a son, Edward R. Maynard and his wife, Jean of Shrewsbury; two daughters, Beverly F. wife of husband Paul Campbell of Worcester and Maureen A. wife of John Taylor of Pompton Plains, NJ; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph, Odilon, Ephraim and John Roseberry; three sisters, Alice Duclos, Yvonne Tellier and Bertina Vachon and a grandson, Nathan A. Taylor who died in 1995.
She was born in St. Pierre de Broughton, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Louis and Emma (Roseberry) Roseberry. Mrs. Maynard was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, the Circle Jeanne Mance and a founding member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. She retired in 1978 from Memorial Hospital where she had worked as the sewing room supervisor.
The funeral is Saturday, May 16th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, May 15th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
