Perkins, Katherine (Maguire) in Kingston, formerly of Marshfield, May l3, at the age of 9l. daughter of the late Hugh J. and Mary H. (Moran) Maguire. Kay was the beloved wife of the late James A. Perkins , who preceded her in death in l995. Dear mother of Suzanne Perkins Pelletier of Kansas and the late James A. Perkins, Jr., (Chipper), who preceded her in death in l996. Loving grandmother of four grandchildren: John Pelletier of NH, Bem Pelletier of Kansas, Bryan and Shannon Perkins of CA. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Barbara Perkins Irias of CA. , her niece Patricia Eagan of Gloucester and nephew Joseph Driscoll, Jr. of CA. Sister of the late Marie Maguire and Patricia Maguire Driscoll. Kay graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in Roxbury and Burdette College in l938. She worked at Ballantine Ale as Executive Secretary and as a Secretary for 23 years at the South River School, Marshfield. Kay was the former Prefect of St. Christine’s Church Sodality and a former teacher in the CCD Program. Visiting hours in the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St., rte. l39, Marshfield on Sunday May 17, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, Scituate on Monday at l0 a.m.
Interment at MA National Cemetery, Bourne at l2:30 p.m.
