WORCESTER
Jacob "JGJR1" Goparian Jr., 72, of Worcester, passed away at home on May 11th after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease.
He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Dina and her fiancee Nicholas Comeau, who cared for him during his illness.
He leaves his son, Donovan as well as his son David and his fiancee Selina Fife; two brothers: Vartan and Gregory Goparian. Grandchildren: William, Joseph, Jeffrey, MiKayla, Julia, Dustin and Dominick, nephews, Derek and Jeffrey; great grandchildren: Sunshine and Alyssa; and his former wife, Jennie Goparian.
He was with Christy's Pizza on Lincoln St. for 40 years.
He was a Marine PFC from 1958 to 1962.
Jacob was an avid Keno and Lottery player and a loyal Red Sox fan and enjoyed going to classic auto shows.
Calling hours at the Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. are Friday, May 15 from 9:30-10:30 am followed by funeral Mass at 11:00 am in the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St. Burial will follow at Hope Ave Cemetery.
