Jeanne (Harris) Hatch, 85 of Sandwich, formerly of Pembroke died, Tuesday May 12th in the Jordan Hospital, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Hatch, Sr .Jeanne was born in Petersham, brought up in Brighton, a graduate of Brighton High School, class of 1941, and the Boston School of Dental Nursing. She was a resident of Pembroke for 48 years and for the past 4 years in Sandwich. Jeanne worked as a dental oral surgery nurse and along side her husband for their family business Hatch Dental Lab .She was a past member of the First Congregational Church in Hanson, where she helped at the fairs, making fudge and knitting. She was also a member of the Elks Club.
She is survived by her children Charles (Rusty) Hatch, Jr., and his wife Karen of Kingston, Ellen Russell and her husband George of Sandwich and Sally Chancholo and her husband Philip of East Bridgewater, her sisters Sally Russell Harris of Litchfield CT., and Ann LePoer and her husband John of Petersham; also 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Her services will be held on Friday May 15th at 1:00PM in the Unitarian Church in Petersham, MA. Burial will follow in the East Street Cemetery; Petersham, MA .Donation may be made to the MA. Humane Society, 87 Wharf St
