CHARLTON-Esther M. (Sullivan) Mullen, 75, of Charlton, died Wednesday, May 13th in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge. She leaves a son, James M. Mullen of Charlton; a daughter, Ann Marie Jenkins and her husband Jerome of Oxford; three grandchildren, David Mancini of Worcester, Megan A. Mancini of Brimfield and Kimberly A. Mullen of Charlton; a great granddaughter, Allison Delina Mancini of CT. She was predeceased by her daughter, Allison M. Mullen in 1984 and her brother, John J. Sullivan, Jr., last year.
She was born in Palmer, the daughter of John J. Sullivan, Sr. and Abigal E. (Buckner) Sullivan and graduated from South High School, Worcester. Ms. Mullen was a credit manager for the former Ware Pratt Company, Central Oil Company and then Al Vuona’s, from which she retired many years ago. After retiring, she helped her daughter at Annie’s Clark Brunch in Worcester, where she always enjoyed talking to the customers.
The funeral is Tuesday, May 19th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street, Worcester.
