Lynch, Lillian Y. (LeVangie), affectionately known as “ Diamond Lil”, died peacefully at home May 11, in Weymouth, formerly of Brookline, Dorchester, and Humarock, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late James J. Lynch. Loving mother of Bill and Nancy Holloway of Weymouth, Jim and Sandy Lynch of Pembroke, Bud and Joan Norton of New York, and Larry and Maureen Harbour of Virginia, and the late Lilly Lynch. Also survived by 15 loving grandchildren and 16 loving great-grandchildren. Sister of Carolyn Carey of Canton, and the late Mary Barkus , Joan Sweetnam, Doris Mooney, Tom LeVangie, and Claire Pashoian. Long time member of St. Christine’s Church, Council of Aging, 60 Plus Club, Red Hats, all of Marshfield, and SHCA Member.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St. (rte. 139) Marshfield, Ma. Friday May 15, at 9 AM. ,
followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Christine’s Church, Marshfield at 10. Visiting hours Thursday 4 to 8 PM. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
