DERRY, NH - Daniel R. Cormier, 28, of Derry, NH, formerly of Dracut, died unexpectedly Sunday morning May 10, 2009.
Born in Lowell on March 12, 1981, he was the beloved son of Debra (Austin) Cormier of Derry, NH and William R.Cormier of Westin, FL.and brother of William R. Cormier of Matthews, NC. He received his early education at Ste. Jeanne D'Arc school and was a graduate of Central Catholic, Lawrence class of 1999. He went on to earn his Bachelors in Arts Degree in English and Theater from Westfield State College.
Mr. Cormier was employed as a Debt Recovery Specialist by Valentine and Kebartas in Lawrence. He also worked as an actor with Dillstar Productions traveling extensively performing dinner theater.
An avid sports fan he enjoyed Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots games and in his free time he enjoyed metal detecting and coin collecting.
In addition to his parents and brother he is also survived by his paternal grandmother Lorraine Cormier of Chelmsford; and several aunts, uncles and close cousins, Laurie, Jen, Leo, Chris, Rick and Charlie.
Friends may call at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM. His Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday at 8 AM followed by his Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30 AM in St. Mary Magdalen Church, Dracut. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
