Robert A. Levesque, husband of Elaine E. (Santos) Levesque, died at New England Medical Center in Boston on May 10, 2009.
He was 78.
Born, raised, and educated in Taunton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Beauvais) Levesque.
A 1948 graduate of the former Taunton Vocational High School, Mr. Levesque was later employed by the former Poole Silver Co. until it closed 25 years later.
He subsequently worked as a bartender for the Pioneer Flying Club, retiring many years ago.
A communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church, he enjoyed sports, especially the Red Sox and Patriots.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Robert J. Levesque and Candace of Taunton; a daughter, Rosemarie Levesque and Lynne of Taunton; 3 brothers, Rene Levesque of TX, Roger Levesque and Madeline of N. Attleboro, and Richard Lévesque of AZ; a sister, Joanne Devine of Taunton; 2 grandchildren, Cameron and Kassidy Levesque, both of Taunton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Raymond and Francis Levesque.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Wednesday, May 13th at 11 a.m.
Interment will be at Cedar Knoll Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 12th from 5 to 8 p.m.
