Fred Lindsley, 80, Clarksville, died Saturday, May 9, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Harriett Bryan-Harris officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Nashville. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Nashville. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born in Lebanon,TN, son of James Trimble Lindsley, Sr. and Willie Mae Hughey Lindsley. After 34 years of US Army service, CW4 Lindsley worked 22 years as a corporate pilot for KY Derby Hosiery. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. He is survived by wife Ann Lindsley of Clarksville, one son Edward Alan Lindsley of Seattle, WA, four daughters Linda Sue (Robert) Marlow of Huntsville, AL, Dr. Skyler Karen Lindsley of Sedona, AZ, Mikhel Shaun Lindsley of Nashville, Briana Barbie Krantz of San Diego, CA., three sisters Sue Lindsley Justice of Anaheim, CA, Elizabeth Lindsley Sellick and Norman Jean Lindsley Ragan both of Nashville, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
