DOUGLAS, MARGIE
Margie Douglas, 87, of Summerville, widow of Ervin Douglas, Sr., died Friday, May 8, 2009 at Trident Medical Center.
Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 11 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville. Burial will follow in Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville. A visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 o’clock at the funeral home.
Mrs. Douglas was born August 12, 1921 in Berkeley County, daughter of the late Thomas Singletary and Carrie Chubb Singletary. Mrs. Douglas was a homemaker and member of Summerville Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters; Elaine Williams (Dave), Lillian Funk (Don) and Brenda Jones (Jamie) all of Summerville and one son; Tommy Douglas (Pam) of Ladson, seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons; Alvin Douglas and Ervin Douglas, Jr. and one grandson; Shawn Douglas.
