Obituary

WEBSTER - Constance E. “Connie” (Daniels) Malboeuf, 83, formerly of Golden Heights, died Thursday, May 7, in Webster Manor. Her husband of 46 years, Norman H. “Babe” Malboeuf, died in 1993.

She leaves 2 granddaughters, her caregiver Lisa A. Slauenwhite and her husband Randall G. of Oxford and Tammy J. Malboeuf of Putnam, CT; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rita Sokolowski and Ruth “Putsie” Hughes and her husband John, all of Webster; her daughter-in-law, Shirley Malboeuf of St. Petersburg, FL; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Norman “Danny” Malboeuf in 1999, by her sisters Jane Dardeen and Theresa “Terry” Gignac, and by her brothers Roger and Robert Daniels.

She was born in Framingham and raised in Webster, the daughter of Benjamin and Ruth (Biggett) Daniels. She was a lifelong resident.

Mrs. Malboeuf first worked as a laster at Webster Shoe Company and then worked at Anglo Fabrics Company before retiring in 1985.

Her interests were crocheting, card playing and weekly shopping trips.

The family would like to thank the staff at Webster Manor for their compassionate care and attention to Connie.

The funeral will be held Thursday, May 14, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Saint Anthony’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 8:15 to 9:15 AM Thursday, May 14, in the funeral home. Donations in her name may be made to either the Webster Manor Patient Activities Fund, 745 School St., Webster, MA 01570 or to the Webster-Dudley Boys and Girls Club, 55 Oxford Ave., Dudley, MA 01571.
