Anthony F. “Gary” Pedi, died at his home early Monday morning following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Anne M. (Repucci) Pedi.
Born in Albany, New York seventy-three years ago, he was the son of the late Rosario and Maria (Amaru) Pedi. He was a retired police officer for the Middlesex County Court System. A resident of Melrose for over ten years, he was formerly of Medford.
In addition to his wife Anne, he survived by a daughter Edythe “Edyie” Pedi of Boston, two sons Gary A. Pedi and his wife Joyce of Boston and Marc H. Pedi and his wife Rae Ann of Cambridge. Also two loving grand daughters Toni-Ann and Liana.
His funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main st. Medford on Thrusday, July 10, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford at 10. Interment will be private.
