Paul E. Benoit, 90, of Bedford, died May 6, 2009 at CMC. He was born
August 15, 1918, in Pawtucket RI, and was the son of Paul and Diana
(Beaudreau) Benoit.A registered pharmacist, Mr. Benoit worked for Bristol Meyers Company for over 38 years.
He enjoyed traveling all over the world, including many trips to
Ireland. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his love of golf, and being a loyal Red Sox fan.
Family members include his wife of 67 years, Catherine "Kitty" (Brosnan)
Benoit, of Bedford; 2 sons, Wayne Benoit, of Hanover, NH; Kevin Benoit, of
Duxbury, MA; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Marguerite
Brosnan, of Taunton MA, Terry Chuckran, of Londonderry. He was predeceased
by a sister, Cecile Cyr, and two brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Elizabeth Seton
Church, Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford on Friday, May 8, 2009.
Burial took place at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's
Cemetery, Beverly, MA.
