Gladys (Gradowski) Silvia, 95, formerly of Fisher Road, N. Dartmouth passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009 at New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home after a brief illness. She was wife of the late John Silvia.
Born in Greenvale, NY, daughter of the late Louis and Constance (Przybyszewska) Gradowski, she had lived in Dartmouth for 50 years. Mrs. Silvia was a Communicant of St. George Church, Westport.
Survivors include 4 sons: John Adomsky of Glen Cove, Long Island, NY, Richard A. Silvia of Acushnet, Lewis J. Silvia of Dartmouth and Dwight J. Silvia of Westport; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, May 7, 2009 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Wednesday 5 - 8 P.M.
Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
