Caroline (Fuccillo) Pagliuca a long-time Medford resident and 50 year member of St. Joseph Choir, died peacefully Friday evening in the company of her loving family. She was 95.
Born and raised in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Carl and the late Mary (Colarusso) Fuccillo. After to her marriage to Dr. Pagliuca, Caroline settled in Medford, where she assisted her husband in the operation of his medical practice. A gracious and generous woman, Caroline was an active member of St. Joseph Parish for most of her life and had been a member of the choir for over 50 years. For over 30 years she worked as a volunteer at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She and her husband, who died two years ago, enjoyed a long and happy marriage, traveling the world together.
She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Gerald Pagliuca. She was the dear sister of Linda Emma Hascall of Revere, Annette Valenti and her husband George of East Boston, Louise Bruno and her husband Joseph of Revere, the late Margie Falsini and Edith Fuccillo. She was the cherished aunt of Carl Hascall, Joanne Salza, Carol Gill, Arthur Falsini, Linda Sciacca, Ceasar Pagliuca, Cathy Maggiore, Carol and Frank Perry and Anthony Schena, John Perry and Frank Perry. She also leaves many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
