Obituary

Alice M. Campbell, 86, of Lantern Road entered into eternity on Friday, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Campbell, Sr. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Farrell) Kelly.


She is survived by her children. Ann Campbell Andrews of Greenville, Edward J. “Joe” Campbell Jr., of Smithfield, and Nancy Fogarty and her husband Paul of Harmony. Five grandchildren. Michael, Sarah, Patrick, Brendan, and Daniel and one great granddaughter, Mackenzie. She is also survived by a brother, Leo Kelly of Warwick and a sister Anna “Nancy” Macdonald of Margate, Florida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Alice was proceeded in death by her brother Robert Kelly.

She had worked at New England Testing Laboratory in North Providence, and worked for the State of Rhode Island in the Statewide Planning office.
She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church in Smithfield. She was also a member of the St. Peter's School Mother's Club.

Funeral Tuesday at 9am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Michael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
Visitation Monday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Amos House, 415 Friendship Street, Providence, RI 02907.
