Sheila L. Ward Cox of Salem, New Hampshire died Saturday at the Haywood County Regional Medical Center in North Carolina after a brief illness; she was 71 years old.
She was born and educated in Newfoundland, Canada and had been employed at Digital Corporation in Salem for several years. Mrs. Cox has lived in the greater Salem area for the past 50 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Londonderry, NH and also served as a bartender. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem.
She was the mother of the late Juliette Jordan who died in 1994.

Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral Mass on Thursday at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church in Salem, NH followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery also in Salem, NH. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9pm at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home 214 Main Street in Salem, NH
