Jeanne (Palmer) Banks of Ledyard, beloved wife of 60 years to Albert C. Banks, passed away peacefully at Mystic Manor.
Born on September 21, 1927 in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Elizabeth Palmer. She was a longtime employee of Dr. Medwick.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Stephen Banks and his wife Josephine of Plant City, FL, two daughters, Deborah Provencher of Jewett City, and Sandra Warner and her husband Roger of Mystic; six grandchildren, Timothy Brewer of Amelia Island, FL, Stacey Banks of Largo, FL, Alison Provencher of Jewett City, Douglas Warner of Pawcatuck, Ashley Provencher of Washington, DC, and Kellie Warner of Mystic; a great-granddaughter, Payton Brewer of Syracuse, NY; and her brother, Richard Palmer of Mystic. She was predeceased by a brother, Douglas Palmer.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Friday at 10am. Fr. Brian Romanowski, Pastor of St. Patrick Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
