Edward Robert Blakeslee of Salem, New Hampshire and Lochmere, NH died Friday at the Concord Hospital in Concord, NH after a sudden illness, he was 67 years old.
He was born in Boston, MA May 24, 1936 and was educated in CT. Mr. Blakeslee was the owner and operator of Blakeslee Sales in Windham, New Hampshire on Route 28. He was a veteran of the US Army and was an active member of the Belmont, NH Bogie – Busters Snowmobile Club for many years and he formerly served as trail master and a member of the Lakewood Cottage Association also in Lochmere, NH. He has been a Salem resident for many years and also a Lochmere, NH resident.

2 son’s Robert E. Blakeslee of Goffstown, NH Edward R. Blakeslee Jr. of Bridgewater, MA
His companion of many years, Sally Turitz of Lochmere, NH
2 stepdaughters, Susan Whalen of Taunton, MA Susan Austin of Lochmere, NH
3 stepsons, Stephen Burden of Carver, MA William Burden of Bridgewater, MA Chad Turitz of California
1 sister, Linda Sharpe of Waltham, MA15 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Tuesday at 10:00am at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street in Salem, NH followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem. Calling hours will be Monday from 3-5 & 7-9pm at the funeral home.
