Ethel “Ecky” E. Petterson, 84, of Summerville, widow of Stanley A. Petterson, died Saturday, April 25, 2009 at her residence.
All services are private.
Mrs. Petterson was born April 5, 1925 in Modale, Iowa, daughter of the late William Kinart and Martha Kelly Kinart.

Survivors include two daughters; Kari Chinners of Summerville and Nancy Umberger of Oregon, two sons; Gene Petterson (Jackie) of Detroit, MI and Lyle Chamberlin (Elaine) of Toledo, Oregon, nine grandchildren; Jennifer Norman (Derrick) of Charleston, Jeffrey Chinners (Meredith) of Hanahan, Jessica Chinners of Charleston, Jeana Chinners of Summerville, Matt Umberger, Stephanie Tyler, Jason Chamberlain and Spencer Chamberlain all of Oregon, and Randy Petterson; ten great grandchildren, seven sisters, one stepbrother and one stepsister.
