Obituary

Methuen, MA- Robert “Bob” Seaver, 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2009, at the Lawrence General Hospital, with his family at his bedside. For the last 12 years, Bob battled chronic illness.

Born in Brighton, MA, Bob was the son of the late George and Mary (Lawless) Seaver. He was a graduate of Austin Prepatory School in Reading, MA and then went on to receive a degree in Business from Boston University. For over 33 years he was a marketing executive at the New England Telephone Company and it’s sister companies in Boston.

Bob was very active in charitable organizations including the Telephone Pioneers of America, Central Catholic High School and St. Monica’s School in Methuen. Bob was an avid golfer and a true sports fan. For over 10 years he coached local grade school basketball. Bob also enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and especially, spending time with his family. He always maintained a positive attitude despite his recent difficulties and truly enjoyed the company of his friends and family.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Pauline (Bouchard), his two sons, Marc and Chris Seaver, and his daughter, Danielle and her husband Mike Stare. He also leaves his two granddaughters, Isabella and Madeline.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 from 4-8PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday morning , April 29th, at 9 at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen.
