Guy Preston Moyers, 88, entered into eternal rest on April 23, 2009.
He was born July 30, 1920 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Guy Calfax and Margaret Linch Moyers. He was a life-long member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Paden City, West Virginia and a long time employee of of PPG Industries in Natrium, West Virginia. He served in the United States Army during World War II from 1942 through 1945 as a Platoon Sergeant and participated in the Central European Campaign.
He will be taken home to Paden City, West Virginia for interment. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 130 South 4th Avenue, Paden City, WV 26159.

2 Daughters: Karen Sue Weltz (Victor) of North Charleston, SC and Sheila Ann Sholtis (Thomas) of Summerville, SC
9 Grandchildren: Denise Weltz, Aaron Weltz (Sara), Natalie Weltz Wiggins (Dane), Brent Weltz (Jennifer), Steven Kuhn, David Kuhn, Brain Kuhn, Michael Sholtis and Tommy Sholtis.

1 Sister: Charlotte Poliskey of Hemet, CA
He was pre-deceased in death by his parents, one brother, Jarvis C. Moyers and one sister, Ellen Moyers.
