
Susan F. “Susie” Puglisi, 84 of Wakefield, died Tuesday in the Winchester Hospital, Winchester, MA.
Born in Clarion, PA, she lived in Wakefield for the past 2 years and formerly of Somerville for many years. She was the daughter of the late Esther (Cercone) and Peter DiGiovanni.
Susan was a Computer Assembler at Teradyne formerly in Boston for 22 years and retired in 1987. She was a volunteer at the Little Sister of the Poor for many years.
Wife of the late John J. Puglisi. Loving, devoted and selfless mother of Diane Puglisi of Wakefield. Also her cherished canine companion “Princess”. Sister of Violet “Marie” Sisler of Ohio, Stella MacDonald of West Roxbury, and the late Angeline DeMatteo, Mary Bacille, Carmela “Chickie” Falcone, Rose Falcone, Lena DiGiovanni, Gino DiGiovanni and William DeJohn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
