WEBSTER - Edward Lee “Fast Eddie” Derusha, 44, of North Main St., died Tuesday, April 21, at home surrounded by his family.

He leaves his father, Edward L. Derusha of Webster; 7 siblings, Loren E. Derusha of Sutton, Leslie R. Derusha of Deltona, FL, Lawrence R. Derusha of Webster, Leonard J. Derusha and his wife Lori of Thompson, CT, Donald A. Derusha of Webster, Lisa M. Hoffman of Clintwood, VA and Doreen D. George of Webster; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene C. (Shackette) Derusha in 2003.

He was born in Worcester and lived in Webster all his life. He was the youngest child of the family. He attended Bartlett High School.

Mr. Derusha was a chauffeur for Eric’s Limousine Service in Oxford until recently.

He was a member of the Auburn-Webster Lodge of Elks. He enjoyed golfing, playing pool and ten pin bowling. He took special pride in his role as a chauffeur and made many friends in his work.

Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Friday, April 24, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street. Burial will be private. Donations in his name may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115.
