John R. “Bob” Murphy, of Plymouth, passed away on April 19th at the age of 92 at Beth Israel Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Gladys (Ruprecht), he is survived by his daughters, Patricia Furtado, Jane Delano and her husband Philip and Kathleen Wood And her husband Abbott, all of Plymouth, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. John attended Stoughton schools and worked for Comm Electric as a forman. He enjoyed gardening. A funeral mass will be held on Friday April 24th at St. Peter’s Church in Plymouth at 10 AM followed by burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday April 23rd at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth from 5 to 8 PM.
