Virginia W. Hutton (Wood), a lifelong resident of Plymouth, passed away at the age of 90 at the Newfield House. She was the widow of the late William Hutton. She is survived by her loving daughter Bonnie Hobson and her husband John of Plymouth, her sister Alice Chisholm, 2 grandsons David and Zack and 5 great grandchildren all of Plymouth. Virginia started teaching at the 2 room Oak Street School and continued to teach for the next 20 years. She was a member of the Black and White Club and the Antiquarian Society. She lived every summer of her life on Clarks Island and was a great lover of animals. A memorial service will be held on Thursday April 23rd at 11 AM at the Plymouth Yacht Club. There are no visiting hours and burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Standish Humane Society, P.O Box 634, Duxbury, MA 02331.
