BEVERLY- Margaret I. (Skinner) Beechey, 82, wife of the late Robert J. Beechey, Jr., of Shortell Avenue, Beverly, died Sunday morning, November 19, 2000 in the Salem Hospital following a short illness.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Young) Skinner.
Prior to her retirement, she was self employed for many years as an interior decorator, specializing in making custom draperies and slip covers.
She was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1935 and was a resident of Beverly for over 45 years.
She leaves no immediate relatives, but is survived by many close friends.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000 at 11 AM in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 AM, prior to the service. For those who desire, donations may be made in her memory to the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 24 St. Peter St., Salem, MA 01970.
