COOK, KENNETH RICHARD
Kenneth Richard “Kenny” Cook, 46, of Summerville, died peacefully at his residence on Friday, April 17, 2009 after a courageous two and one half year battle with cancer.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 3 o’clock at Cook Family Cemetery, Hwy. 61, Summerville. A visitation will be held this evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at the funeral home.
Mr. Cook was born January 26, 1963, in Summerville, son of Janet Bates Cook of Summerville and the late Kenneth W. Cook. Mr. Cook was a lifelong carpenter. He attended Summerville High School and enjoyed fishing and farming.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to offset funeral expenses to Twyla Tyler, 2064 Old Beech Hill Road, Ridgeville, SC 29472.

Survivors, including his mother, are one daughter; Lindsey Kurtnacker of Summerville, four sisters; Tammy Mayes of Lawn, TX, Twyla Tyler of Ridgeville, Caroline Cook Bailey of Summerville and Melanie Cook of Summerville, one brother; Terry Lea Bradley of Lawn, TX, several nieces and nephews, four great nieces and fiancé Jo McDermit. He was predeceased by a daughter; Kimberly Cook.
