Mr. Jerome "Jerry" Covino, 62 of Winchester formerly of Somerville died Thursday in Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was was born in Lynn, the son of the late Guerino and Margaret (Roselli) Covino. He worked as a clerk in the U.S. Post Office for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed playing cards with friends and was a big fan of the Patriots, Red Sox and Celtics. He is survived by a brother: Robert Covino and his companion Anna Mason of East Boston. He is the beloved nephew of several aunts and uncles and is the uncle of several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday from 10:00 am at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Visitation will conclude with a funeral service at 2:00pm. Interment services will be private.
