OXFORD – Nora F. (Ausmus) Cusson, 62, of Charlton Street, died Wednesday, April 15, in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester, surrounded by her family. Her husband of 18 years, Edward E. Cusson, died in 1994.
She leaves a stepdaughter, Cheri L. Behrens and her husband William J. Behrens, Jr. of Webster; a stepson, Scott E. Fish of Phoenix, AZ; 3 grandchildren, Michael Bricault and twins Nikki and Mysti Campbell; a great granddaughter, Julianna Bricault; 4 brothers, Daniel Ausmus of Oxford, David Ausmus of Marlborough, and Ronald and Wayne Ausmus, both of Oceanside, CA; a sister Catherine of Denver, CO; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Eileen and Charlotte and by her brothers Cletus S. “Tucker” Ausmus, Jr. and Robert Ausmus.
She was born in Newport, RI, one of the 10 children of Cletus E. Ausmus, Sr. and Eileen (Harrington) Ausmus. She moved to Worcester about 1960 and to Oxford at the time of her marriage in 1976. She lived at her daughter’s home since last November.
Mrs. Cusson was a sorter at Reed & Prince Company in Worcester and also a frame maker at another Worcester concern. She retired in 1989 due to illness.
She enjoyed motorcycling with her late husband and also crocheting. Her home was filled with family and friends. She adored her great granddaughter.
According to her wishes, no funeral services are planned. There are no calling hours.
