Obituary

Alessandra Eleanor (DeMarco) Mucci a 50 year resident of Medford and beloved wife of the late Nazzarino Mucci, died at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on April 14, 2009. She was 90 years old.
Born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on January 2, 1919, she was the beloved daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Canteloupe) DeMarco. She was rasied in Somerville, Massachusetts and was a graduate of the Somerville Public School system. Mrs. Mucci was a longtime communicant of St. Raphael Church in Medford. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader. She was employed for many years at Gillcrest in Boston.
She will be very sorely missed by two daughters and two son-in-law; Janet R. and her husband Robert W. Salton of Quincy and Nancy and her husband James DiLorenzo of Medford, two sisters; Louise Bremmer of Texas and Mary MacCullum of Florida, one brother: Louis DeMarco of Woburn, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Eleanor LeBlanc.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 514 High Street, Medford, on Saturday, April 18, 2009, at 9:30 AM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. Visiting hours were held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, on Friday, April 17, 2009, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
