Mary Lou (Bridge) Boyt, 75, of Attleboro formerly of Medfield passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday April 12, 2009 at the Epoch Senior Healthcare in Norton.
Born in Fall River, MA on November 7, 1933 she was a daughter of the late George and Nan Carolyn (Crane) Bridge.
She spent her early childhood in Fall River and later moved to Saco, Maine. She was educated in Maine schools and went on to become a graduate of Colby College.
Mrs. Boyt had worked as a Legal Secretary for the law firm of Gallagher & Gallagher in Boston before retiring. Mary Lou enjoyed playing the piano, attending events at Lincoln Greyhound Park and most of all looked forward to yearly trips to Greenville, South Carolina. She had made her home in Attleboro for over 20 years and was formerly of Medfield.
She is survived by her loving and devoted children Karen L. Simpson and Teri L. Toubeau both of Norfolk, Gary W. Boyt of Bellingham, Elden B. Boyt, Jr. of Franklin and M. Lisa Lamoureux of Pelham, New Hampshire. She was the sister of Joan MacPherson of Lincolnville, Maine and Canon George R. Bridge of New Smyrna, Florida. Mary Lou is also survived by her dear 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Private memorial services will be at the convenience of her family. Visiting hours are omitted and burial will be private.
