WORCESTER-Ernestine E. St. Germain, 93, of 39 First Street, died Sunday, April 12th in Autumn Village Nursing Center. She leaves several nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. Two brothers, Ernest and Francis J. St. Germain and her sister, Irene Crevier, predeceased her.
Miss. St. Germain was born in Worcester, the daughter of Edward and Maria (Plante) St. Germain. She graduated from the former High School of Commerce as an honor student. Miss. St. Germain was as an accountant for many businesses, including Narcus Brothers, for 32 years before retiring. She was a member of the former Holy Name of Jesus Church, played the violin, loved to travel and had a large and diverse amount of friends. Miss. St. Germain was very family oriented, helping to support her family and raise her younger brother after the death of her father when she was only five, and helping to put her nieces and nephew through college.
The funeral is Saturday, April 18th with a service at 2:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
