Joe Ann Swiggart, 54, of Fitzgerald, died Tuesday, April 14 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M, Friday, April 17, 2009, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Rev. Robert Burns officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9, Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Ms. Swiggart was born January 6, 1955 in Irwin County to the late Paul and Dorothy Ward Spearman. She lived in the community most of her life. Ms. Swiggart was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Fitzgerald and attended Sylvester Church of God.
Ms. Swiggart is survived by her companion, Mitchell Pollard of Fitzgerald; son, Donnie L. Tucker of Fitzgerald; daughter, Donna Ann (Henry) Sewell of Sylvester; son James Robert Tucker of Fitzgerald; several grandchildren , great grandchildren, a niece and a brother, Paul Kenneth Spearman of Fitzgerald. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
