Priscilla Ann (Hunt) Moore, 78 of Sandwich and formerly of Walpole died April 13 in the JML Care Center in Falmouth. She was the wife of the late John F. Moore who died in 2005.
Born in Norwood on December 9, 1930, the daughter of the late DeForest and Alice (Mitchell) Hunt, Mrs. Moore was raised in Norwood and had lived in Walpole for many years before moving to Sandwich 15 years ago.
Mrs. Moore had been a cafeteria worker in the Walpole public schools for many years.
Mrs. Moore loved to cook big meals for her family and to do all types of crafts especially knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by her children, Paul Moore and his wife, Marlene of Wrentham, Mary Jane Durden of Plainville and Linda Duquette and her husband, Gary of Norfolk.
She is also survived by her brothers, DeForest Hunt of Saugus, John Hunt of Boston and sister, Carol Syracuse of Boston.
She was the sister of the late Kenneth, Robert, Stephen and Richard Hunt.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher, Courtney, Jason, Allison and Caitlyn.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17 in the Ginley Funeral Home , 892 Main St. in Walpole at 11:00a.m.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
