Obituary

Dorothy M. (Theberge) Murphy, 70, a resident of Georgetown, MA. died on Saturday, April 11, 2009 surrounded by her loving family at the Hannah Duston Nursing Home in Haverhill, MA.

She was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on November 1, 1938 to Leo & Muriel (Covey) Theberge. She was educated in local schools and she was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She worked as an Assembler for American Power in Lynn, Massachusetts for over 20 years until her retirement. According to her family she was an avid reader, she also loved her hand held electronic games which included various card games and poker games, she also loved to travel to Foxwoods as well. She also loved to have her family around her and especially her grand children and her two great grand daughters as well.

She is the wife of the late: James G. "Murph" Murphy. She is survived by her four children: Diane and her husband Kenny Graham of Hudson, NH, James Murphy of Londonderry, NH, Shaun Murphy of Milford, NH and Steven Murphy and his wife Lisa of Salem, NH. Her grandchildren: Tara Gagnon, Stephanie Church, Ryan Murphy, Christopher Murphy, Justin Murphy, Eric Murphy, Jacob Murphy, Evan Murphy, Colin Murphy, Laurie Graham, and Trevor Graham. Two great grand children Abbie & Emma Church. Also two sisters: Colleen Brandolini of Bradford, MA, Joan Vancoppenolle of Georgetown, MA, Three brothers: Bobby Theberge of NH, Danny Theberge of Cailfornia, Richard Theberge of Georgetown, MA, As well as many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Gus Theberge, Albert Theberge, Patrick Theberge and Muriel Smith.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 8:00PM at the funeral home. The burial will be private.
