Louise H. (Booth) Bullock, 95, of Little Compton, died April 11, 2009 at Sarah Brayton Nursing Center in Fall River. She was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Bessie M. (Dutton) Booth. Born in Fall River, she lived there until her marriage to the late Francis G. Bullock. After their marriage she moved to Little Compton, residing there until her death.
Louise and her family owned a summer cottage on Palmer Lane in Westport and summered there for over 60 years. She enjoyed swimming, quahoging and being with her family.
Throughout her years in Little Compton she was a member of the United Congregational Church and had been very active in it until her later years. She had also been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 37 and Social Rebekah Lodge, No. 11 and attended the Nancy Brayton Osborn Adult Day Center.
She is survived by her daughter: Betty J. Marsden of Somerset, grandsons: Jeffrey D. Danton (with whom she lived), Christopher F. Bullock of Aiken, SC and Peter L. Bullock of Mt. Airy, MD. She also leaves a sister in law: Virginia Watt of Little Compton, two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late Arlene L. Danton and Everett T. Bullock and mother in law to the late Thomas E. Marsden.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be from 10 - 11 A.M. prior to the service.
Interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton.
