Graveside funeral services for Florence T. Mangham, 76, of Sycamore, GA. will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 14, 2009 in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn, GA. Mrs. Mangham passed away Sunday at her residence after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Mangham was born in Irwin Co., GA. and was a member of the Baptist Faith. She was the widow of Mr. James Alton Mangham. A homemaker, she enjoyed working in her yards, fishing and quilting.
Survivors include her son, Dennis (Sherry) Summers, Ashburn, GA; her step children, Dennis (Angie) Mangham, Albany, GA, Martha (B.E.) Miller, Ashburn, GA, Patsy (Michael) Markham, Tifton, GA; her sisters, Frances Boyd, Davenport, FL, Daisy Bigda and Norma Baines both of Charleston, SC; Eleven grandchildren, Fourteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; her aunts, Ruby O’Neal, Kissimmee, FL, Mae Smith, Charleston, SC.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from seven until nine at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn, GA.
