LOWELL - Carol M. (Buckley) Reid, 47, of Lowell died Wednesday April 8, 2009 in Saints Memorial Medical Center, Lowell.
Born in Lowell on July 3, 1961, she was the daughter of Blanche (Bowen) Bonin of Dracut and the late Robert Bonin. She received her education in the Lowell school system and was a graduate of Lowell High School class of 1979.
Mrs. Reid devoted her life to tending to the needs of her family. in her free time she enjoyed crossword puzzles, music, and video games especially Wii. She cherished her time spent in the company of her family and friends.
She was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Dracut.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Rick Toohey of Pelham, NH; three sons Michael Reid Jr and his wife Lisa of Lowell; Chad Reid of Fiji and Kyle Reid of Tyngsboro; three grandsons Tyler and Rick Toohey Jr and Michael Reid III; four sisters Maureen Leandro and her husband Frank of Salem, NH, Cheryl Lesniak and her fiancee Robert Bucci Jr of Lowell, Christine Buckley and her fiancee Kenneth Conlin of Seabrook, NH, Kim Emerson and her husband Mark of Dracut; one brother Fred Buckley of Dracut; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Neil Reid.
Friends may call at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, TODAY, Monday from 4 until 8 PM. Her Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday at 8 AM followed by her Funeral Mass celebrated at 9 AM in St. Francis Church, Dracut. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
