TEWKSBURY Margaret Helen (Stevens) Cooper, age 75, died Saturday night, June 29, at herhome after a four month battle with cancer. She was the wife of Frank B. Cooper, with whomshe had celebrated a 53rd wedding anniversary this past Feb. 14th.
She was born in Lawrence, Apr. 29, 1928, a daughter of the late Everett and Hazel (Parker)Stevens. She was raised in Methuen, but had been a resident of Tewksbury since 1954.
She retired from Lucient Technologies, formerly called Western Electric, North Andovermanufacturing and research division, 15 years ago. She had worked as an inspector andassembler. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna L. and herhusband Charlie Rezk of Tewksbury, Joanne C. and her husband Daniel Baillargeon of Salem NH,three sisters and a brother-in-law Elinor and her husband Charles Bruno of Methuen, BarbaraBlouin of Salem, NH, Virginia Staponites of Billerica, a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and hiswife Patricia Stevens of Salem, NH, three grandchildren, Christine Berube of Putney, VT, TracyBerube of Salem, NH, Heather Sykes of Tewksbury, two step grandchildren, Karen and MarkBaillargeon both of Salem, NH.
Funeral services were private.
