Weirs Beach. N.H.-----Scott Page Ratay, 55, of Village at Winnipesaukee, died at his home on February 13, 2009.
Scott was born June 9, 1953 in Laconia, N. H., the son of the late Chester J. Ratay and Paula Steward Ratay He was a longtime resident of Laconia/Weirs Beach and graduated from Laconia High School in 1971. He was employed as a cook in many area restaurants, most recently at the Crazy Gringo, formerly “Nothing Fancy”, at Weirs Beach.
Scott is survived by his sister, Candace Ratay, of Saugus, Mass. and many life time friends of Weirs Beach. He was predeceased by his parents, Chester and Paula Ratay, who were longtime residents of Laconia/Weirs Beach, N.H. and formerly of Newburyport, Mass.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 1:00PM at Endicott Park, Weirs Beach, N.H.
