Connolly, Mary E. (Burke) of South Yarmouth, formerly of Dorchester, died on April 8, 2009 in her daughter’s home in Kingston. She was 85 years old. Mary was born in Boston and a graduate of the Jeremiah E. Burke High School in Dorchester. She was a proud WWII veteran who served in the United States Coast Guard. Mary was the loving wife of the late Charles S. Connolly. Devoted mother of Patricia Kimball & her husband Richard of FL, Charles Connolly & his wife Stephanie of AL, Kathy Larvey & her husband Paul of Kingston, Michael Connolly of Boston, Paul Connolly & his wife Nancy of Marshfield, Theresa Castlelone of Dennis and son in law Michael Castelone of Dennis. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren Alex, Kristin, Patrick, Matthew, Caroline, Nicholas, Daniel and two great grand children Alexzander and Paul Joseph. Sister of William Burke of Georgia.
Visiting hours in the John J. O’Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St. DORCHESTER on Monday, from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Mark’s Church, Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
