LEICESTER: Ruth C. (LaRose) Stuart,94, of 1075 Main St., died Tuesday, April 7 in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
She was the wife of William L. Stuart, Sr. who died in 1993. She leaves two sons William L. Stuart, Jr. and his wife Shelda of Spencer and Richard W. Stuart and his wife Maureen of Leicester, two daughters Patricia R. Walsh and her husband John of Leicester and Shirley A. LaPrade of Brookfield, 12 grand children, 18 great grand children, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Stuart was an assembler for Curtis & Marble in Worcester for 23 years, retiring in 1981. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cross word puzzles and playing BINGO.
Born in Northfield, Vt., she was the daughter of Walter and Clara (Duffany) LaRose.
Private funeral services will be held in the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester followed by burial in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Worcester V.N.A. Care Network, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, 01608.
