TEWKSBURY - Mark S. Buckley, 34, died Friday, June 27, at Boston Medical Center, frominjuries sustained in an automobile accident in Dracut on June 12.
He was born in Cambridge, Nov. 26, 1968, a son of Stephen and Diane (Moreira) Buckley ofTewksbury. He lived in Tewksbury the greater part of his life and graduated from CentralCatholic High School in 1986. He moved to Pelham, NH, two years ago.In his earlier years, he was active in Pop-Warner Football, and Scouting.
Throughout his life hemaintained an active role in health and fitness.
He was co-owner and manager for Baystate Fitness Center in Dracut, and also owned ScopeCarein Tewksbury, a medical hardware repair company. Most recently, he was employed as aresidential mortgage broker.
He also served in the U.S. Marines Reserve Corps.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister and brother-in-law Christine and her husband ConnieWalsh of Tyngsboro, a brother and sister-in-law Shawn and his wife Robin (Carter) Buckley ofPelham, NH, his maternal grandparents, Mary (Costa) and Edward Moreira of Cambridge, fivenieces and nephews, Daryelle, Amber, Shane, Braylynn Buckley, and Austin Walsh, and manyaunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
He is also survived by his fiance Stephanie Swiniarski, with whom he was expecting thebirth of their first child in late July.
His Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, July 1, in St. William’s Church. Interment with USMC Honors was held in St. Mary’sCemetery, No. Tewksbury.
