Loving "Nana" of Anthony, Nicholas, & Christopher Occhipinti of Camarillo, CA. Aunt to Adrienne, Paul, Michael, and Emily. Lifelong friend of Helen Doyle of FL. Best buddy of Ann Downey of CA.
Barbara was a former Miss Massachusetts and was a professional singer with many big bands of the era. For many years she worked as the secretary for the new director of WHDH TV and radio. She has been a loving and caring volunteer at Harbor House Nursing and Rehab in Hingham since moving there in 2001.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM, Saturday from 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM, followed by a service at 5:30 PM.
Cremation will follow.
