WEBSTER – Ann C. (Kwiecinski) Gaumond, 62, of Havre de Grace, MD, formerly of Webster, passed away Sunday, April 5, in Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace.
She leaves her beloved husband of 32 years, Roger Gaumond; a sister, Cecilia Brouillet of East Douglas; a brother, John Kwiecinski of Dudley; 3 aunts, Gladys Grochowski of East Woodstock, CT, Victoria Minior of East Douglas and Alice Kwiecinski and her husband William of Dudley; her mother-in-law, Marguerite DelBello of Shrewsbury; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Webster, a daughter of John and Cecilia (Grochowski) Kwiecinski. She lived in Saint Louis, MO and State College, PA before moving to Havre de Grace in 2007. She graduated from Bartlett High School. She then earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Worcester State College and a Master’s Degree from Kent State University.
Mrs. Gaumond first worked at the Central Mass. Regional Planning Agency in Worcester and then at the Housing Development Commission in St. Louis, MO. She retired as the County Director of Transportation for Centre County, PA in 2007.
She enjoyed traveling, sailing, gardening and her cat.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 14, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Monday, April 13, in the funeral home.
