Methuen, MA – George F. Rennie, 65, died at the Beth Israel/Deaconess Hospital in Boston.
George was born in Methuen, Ma. son of the late George and Anna (Laucius) Rennie.
A graduate of Tenney High School in Methuen, he went on to B.U. for his undergraduate, and was a graduate from BC Law School.
During the Vietnam War Mr. Rennie served his country in the United States Navy. He was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and received the Meritorious Unit Commendation with a discharge of Yeoman 2nd Class.
For many years George had been employed as a Trust Examiner with the Federal Government.
George enjoyed fishing, loved gardening, and was an avid reader.
Survivors include his brother James W. and wife Ann Rennie of Florida, and many caring friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock from the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence.
